Linda McGowan

Linda currently serves as Board Secretary for PiPEx and has served on the Board or as an Advisor since 2012.  She lives in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  She founded LMM Strategic Consulting LLC to provide consulting services on continuous process improvement, organizational change management, associated communications, and using the Baldrige Framework for Performance Excellence.  Prior to consulting, she spent the bulk of her career in services industries including insurance, computing and communications.  She assisted in creating an organization's first state-level application using the Baldrige Framework and coached several sister organizations to write Baldrige applications.  She set up systems to act on Baldrige Feedback Reports and integrate the feedback into Strategic Planning processes.  Linda has served as a Baldrige Examiner, Team Leader, and Mentor for several state and regional Baldrige Alliance Programs, as well as serving as a national award Examiner.  Most recently she served as Team Lead and Examiner for Communities of Excellence in 2023, and 2024 Gold Level Award Examiner for American Health Care Associate / National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA / NCAL). Linda is an engineer by education and appreciates the systems approach to improving businesses and results embedded in the Baldrige Framework.  In her spare time, Linda creates custom designs (in Excel) and knits Christmas (and one Hannukah-themed) stockings for friends and family.
